“After the 5 Day Detox I slept much better and was able to get back to sleep when I did wake up during the night. I felt much lighter, less bloated and satisfied with what I was eating. I was also more aware of what I put in my body and how it makes me feel. I became more aware of ingredients and cooked more often. The recipes were wonderful, creative, tasty and pretty easy to prepare. We kept using them after the detox. The shopping list was very detailed with good tips for buying.  I felt well guided during the week. “For me, the main benefit of the 5-Day Detox Program was that it made me more aware of what I am eating or drinking on a daily basis.  Although I fancy myself a somewhat healthy eater to begin with, the Detox made me realize that there are still some better choices that I could make throughout the day that would improve upon my diet.   I had plenty of recipes to choose from and felt that the level of guidance during the program was perfect.  Having both the accessibility of the periodic group check-in chats as well as one-on-one advice gave the right amount of support without it feeling overwhelming.  I think the coaching style/support during the program would appeal to both those who need a bit more hand-holding and those who prefer to work quietly alone.  I found the information provided in the call prior to the start of the program to be very helpful.  I have a fear of the unknown, so this communication eliminated that feeling of not knowing what to expect. You could only have made the program better if you cooked for me! ;-)

I think this 5 Day Detox is great for anyone who is unsure whether or not to try a detox program.  It was just enough time to help bring awareness to my eating habits and get a sense of how even small changes make a big difference.  I have continued to snack healthier.   I've replaced some of the higher sugar content protein bars with those containing only fruit sugars.  I am also making my own granola bars for myself and my family and I’m working on drinking more water.  This is something I struggle with but the detox made me keenly aware of how I am not hydrating sufficiently. “ - A.R., 5-Day Detox Group Coaching Participant

 

“I loved the vegetarian recipes, the substitutions for things I didn't think I could give up (green tea for coffee) and the daily emails/group messages with words of encouragement. It really helped me get away from sugar in my diet, which I know I was relying on at times of the day. That felt really good. I had plenty of recipes to choose from and I didn't feel like being vegetarian made it impossible either. I bought a lot of new ingredients that I know I will use in the future.
